The essential oils are used in beauty bath for aromatherapy. The various essential oils and its characteristics are as follows:

Foundation/Powder
Foundation is used as a base for other makeup. It smooths out
any imperfections in the skin and allows other makeup to glide on
easier. Foundation comes in many different forms, including liquids,
creams, powders, and new spray-on forms. Depending on the form, it

Foundation can be chosen depending on your skin type and needs
If you have oily skin, you should look for a powder or light liquid
foundation without oil. For drier skin, a cream or heavier liquid
packed with moisturizers is ideal. Foundation should match your skin
tone exactly. To make sure a foundation shade matches, you should
apply a dab to your jawbone and examine it in natural lighting. Testing
foundation on your wrist or hand does not work - these areas are usually
a different tone then your face. Powder is applied after foundation and
concealer. It is used to set the makeup and helps to absorb oil.
Concealer
Concealer is applied before foundation and used for extra coverage
of imperfections or wrinkles. It comes in numerous forms, including
solid sticks, creams, and liquids. You should choose the form of concealer
depending on what you are looking to conceal. For pimples, an oil-free
stick or pot of cream concealer, applied with a brush, is ideal. For
wrinkles or undereye, a liquid would be the better choice. Unlike
foundation, concealer can be a shade lighter then your skin since oils
can eventually darken its appearance. You can test concealer shades
the same way you do foundation.
Blush/Bronzer
Blush can be applied before or after foundation and is used to give
a rosy appearance to cheeks and brighten up the face. Blush comes in
powder, cream, stain, or gel forms. Usually, gels and stains are applied
before foundation, while creams and powders are applied after. Blush
comes in many shades. Bronzer is a product similar to blush which
gives the skin a tan, glowing color. It can be used before blush or alone
and comes in cream and powder forms.
Highlighter/Illuminator
Highlighters can come in stick, cream, powder, or liquid forms
and are applied over foundation. They are used to "highlight" a
certain part of your face - usually your cheek or browbones. Illuminators
come in liquid or powder form. In liquid form, they are used in place of
foundation. They offer minimal coverage but give the skin a glowy, bright
appearance. In powder forms they are used over foundation to brighten up
the entire face.
Eyeliner/Eyeshadow
Eyeliner is usually applied before eyeshadow. It comes in two basic forms -
pencils and liquids. Pencils are generally easier to apply but
liquids can give a more precise, bold, dramatic look. Eyeliner can be
applied to both the upper or lower lids. Eyeshadow comes in numerous forms
and can be applied from the lashes to the browbone. Some eyeshadow forms
include creams, powders, and liquids. Eyeshadows can be layered to create
countless beautiful looks.
Lipsticks/Glosses/Inks/Stains
There are countless lip products available on the market
Lipsticks are used mostly to give the lips color -
they are available in numerous finishes including glossy,
matte, and shimmery. Lipsticks come in hundreds of shades.
Lipglosses are generally used to give the lips a shine.
There are also many lipglosses available today that also provide
color. Lip inks and stains are made to last long. These generally
come in liquid form and can be applied with a brush, your fingers
or a marker-like applicator. Both are applied to clean, dry lips
and last longer then normal glosses and lipsticks.
Mascara
Mascara is applied to the eyelashes to lengthen, color, thicken,
or curl them. Mascara comes in numerous colors and formulas.
